Jessica Almeida

Jessica Almeida
Born: 5/22/1985 Amarillo, TX (US)
Ht: 5'5 Wt: 130lbs

Jessica was born to a 2nd generation Mexican-American parents in Amarillo in 1985.
Her father was a bank teller and her mother stayed home and raised their five kids.
Jessica was the fourth child after two older brothers and one sister with the last child being a boy.

They were a close knit family, going to rodeos, circuses and visiting their relatives in Mexico. While Jessica was interested in cooking with her mother and older sister, she spent most of the time around her three brothers. She played basketball and soccer with them and on Saturday nights they would watch WWF programs.

Around Jessica's time in 6th grade, pro wrestling hit it's highest peak in popularity. Everyone on the playgrounds did the wrestling moves and did impersonations of their favorite characters. As she entered into high school, wrestling appeal kind of died down and kids were more interested in the latest gossip about pop singers and reality show stars.

She remainded a true fan. She recieved good grades in high school, but really couldn't resist the urge to become a pro-wrestler herself. Her parents agreed to allow her to train to become a wrestler. She trained to condition herself daily before and after school. Then at seventeen she enrolled in the legendary Funking Conservatory owned and opererated by the brother Terry and Dory Funk Jr.

She was the only girl in her class but her mates did not take it easy on her because of gender, but she wouldn't have wanted it any other way. She impressed her peers and mentors as she had alot of tenacity and was willing to learn everything she needed to in order to become better at her craft.

After graduating in the top 10 of her high school class, Jessica made a decision that her family knew would be coming. She took a trip to Mexico to learn how to train in the lucha libre style. As it would turn out, she had an uncle that was already wrestling professionally in the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración. She stayed with him and trained under him. He too did not take it easy on her and was even tougher on her than the Funk brothers were.

After 2 years in Mexico, Jessica made her way back to Texas. When she arrived at home, her parents recieved a message from Dallas Hendry the CEO of NLZ Rebel Wrestling. She was extending an invitation for Jessica to try out for the company.
After clearly blowing out the other girls competing for a spot to be a NLZ vixxxn, Jess was signed to the company at 21 years old.
