Monroe

Monroe
Madeline Ester Wainwright-Riggs
Ht: 5'7 Wt: 136lbs
Born: 1/27/1979 Spokane, Washington (US)
Billed from: Las Vegas, NV

Born into a working class family in Northern Washington, Madeline Wainwright could only imagine having everything she ever wanted in life. In a family of seven children, it was tough to make due and give the children luxuries at the same time.
During the winters however, the children would visit their aunts and uncles and go skiing. They would go to the movies as well when the kids grades were good and the family could afford it.

As Madeline grew, it was discovered she had a weaker immune system than her siblings.
She spent most of her childhood taking various medications. When she was in high school doctors suggested that she exercised more to help build it up or she would not be able to do much about it in her adult life.

She was put on a moderate exercise regimine at home, and then at school she would take gym class seperately from other students. This brought about bullying and teasing from her peers. She would come home so depressed about her situation. Her oldest brother suggested that she come work out with him on weekends at the gym. There a professional nutritionist could help her exercise at a level she was comfortable with, plus she wouldn't be embarrassed.

It was also there that she would meet her future husband, 22 year old Darryl Riggs. He voluteered to show her how to weight lift, and do cardio. She took a liking to her but Darryl knew there was nothing that could be done because of their ages. As she worked out more her body began to change, becoming more defined but not muscular and she was becoming healthier.

When she returned to school the next fall, she was no longer a joke. She was in the weight room lifting weights with the football team. She then went back to Darryl and asked if he could train her in power lifting. He was hesitant at first, but agreed to it with her parents permission. They saw nothing wrong with it.

By 17, she had won 3 junior powerlifting oompetions and wanted to train for the olympics. She unfortunately tore a quadracep and had to sit out competitions her senior year. When she turned 19, she and Darryl finally began dating. She also went back to bodybuilding. He took photos of her and sent them to Peak Physique Magazine, and she asked to submit them under the name Monroe (after her favorite actress Marilyn Monroe).

She started competing at the Miss FitBody classics at 21, coming in at 4th place in 2000. She was second place the next year. She took a year off from training for competitions. She, like Jessica Almeida, grew up with brothers who were into pro wrestling and she also liked watching it. She tuned in one night and told Darryl that she wanted to train to become pro wrestler after a commercial for a wrestling reality show aired.

She trained for about 3 months before the casting calls, and auditioned. The judges liked her look but felt her in-ring prescence needed more work. She was also a bit out of sync, which was considered dangerous for the women she would face. So while Monroe was living in Las Vegas, she went to a few wrestling schools and even to train in Minnesota where some of pro wrestlings greats have hailed.

She didn't get called up by the company holding the auditions but in 2004 NLZ CEO Dallas Hendry called offering Monroe a spot on their roster to compete in the Vixxxnz division. She accepted of course. With in months not only did she take on the tough Vixxxnz but even challenging the men on the roster as well.

In 2009, Monroe and Darryl Riggs were married in Las Vegas, NV. They live in a quaint home with their two dogs in Reno, Nevada currently. Monroe is also going for her 3rd women's championship against current champ Tammika Taylore at the Bloody Valentine's ppv next Saturday.
